Color & Winter Guard

Interested in being one of the people who perform with the band and twirl the flags? Color guard would be perfect for you! Over the years, color guard has evolved into a form of entertainment similar to dance theater. We use props, along with movement. to express dynamic passages in the music accompanying the marching band show. In addition to competitions, we perform during halftime of football games and school pep rallies. During the winter, the activity is very similar, yet we perform to a piece of pre-recorded music. We also perform at halftime of basketball games, pep rallies, and numerous competitions.

Open to students 9-12. Auditions are mandatory.
