Interested in gaining a wider perspective on other cultures from around the world? How about being able to experience how others live? The Kentucky United Nations Assembly is a 3-day experiential learning conference in which students participate directly in simulated international diplomacy. As ambassadors, emulating the culture and representing diverse interests of UN members from countries around the world, students dive deeply into the culture of another nation and are encouraged to re-examine the world from another perspective. Students develop solutions for international issues by writing, presenting, debating, and voting on proposals. This program offers students the opportunity to experience the richness of cultures from around the world, develop empathy, and show their critical thinking skills while engaging with a wide variety of perspectives and global issues.

Open to all students 9-12.
